Went to the lawyer's yesterday to work out the will, the kid's godparents, etc.
Guess who willed $$ to Mercy for Animals' undercover investigations of factory farms.....
It was a great moment.
And the lawyer: an unlikely ally, who thought this was a great thing to do and will look into it herself.
Meanwhile, in life, one persists .... Persistence will push through those traps called "housing" and "high-rise hen housing" and free those animals.
Persistence against universities, where thinking is supposed to take place, where students are taught that industrialized animal farming is "good" and where jingles are disseminated ("feed the world") instead of ethics.
Because ethics is problematic in relation to confining and then killing on a vast scale, isn't it....
