Caging animals, feeding them ractopamine, filling the world with feces=the high road.
Apparently they're the "silent majority" too--a ridiculous phrase coined by Richard Nixon.
This blog started after a cold, wet winter night, when a transport trailer carrying pigs crashed, spilling several pigs onto a busy highway. Some were hit by oncoming cars and later shot by police officers. It started as a love story to the one pig we rescued from yet another scene of carelessness and animal suffering. It has evolved into a place where I can archive and discuss the unjust, dark, and deceptive world of the meat industrial complex.

I think the comparison they made of themselves is accurate...the leaders of the "silent majority", Spiro Agnew (convicted and imprisoned) and Richard Nixon (resigned the presidency to avoid impeachment) represent power corrupted.
ReplyDeleteOne of the most corrupted folks in the world Rick Berman is leading the choir to "arm" against vegans. Boy that's hysterically amusing in a sick/twisted sort of way. :/
ReplyDeleteAnd sure -Global meat production may be at an all time high- But USA statistics show that homeland consumption is rapidly declining! I think they're getting desperate of what possibilities are likely ahead.
American wasn't the first to free human slaves... But we sure can try to be the first to liberate the nonhuman ones! With Canada at our side of course! Here's to burying Berman in the rubble! ;)
